About us at AWWS
Accessible Water & Wastewater Solutions Ltd.(AWWS) was formed and incorporated in 2006 by Brian A. Hazlett after working with the Municipality of Kings County Engineering & Public Works department for 30 years where he was managing the operations of Fourteen Wastewater systems, Eight Wastewater Treatment Plants, Two Potable Water Utilities and One Septage Facility.
In this role he managed Union and Non-union work-forces, Prepared and administered multi-million dollar budgets, Operation and Capital. He considers himself to be a "Life Long Learner" and noticed throughout his career that there was a shortage of good "local grassroots training" for operators in the science and mechanics of Water and Wastewater Operations so he decided to move on and start a consulting company.
Since 2006 he has been actively designing, developing and delivering training programs for operators throughout Atlantic Canada. These training courses are registered with the Nova Scotia Department of Environment and Labour and are certified for Continuing Education Units (CEUs)
